Hiking

The mountains are calling. South Tyrol is famous for its spectacular mountain and hiking tours. A superlative network of hiking trails and climbing routes make South Tyrol’s mountains a favourite destination for both novice and experienced mountaineers alike.

Golf

Try a round of golf at the Lana Golf Club situated at the foot of the castle ruin "Brandis”. Let your gaze wander over the Etsch valley. Play on the beautiful  9 hole course at 2793 metres (women 2436 metres), three par 3, four par 4 and two par 5 (par 70).

The Passeier golf course near Merano offers beginners as well as pros ideal conditions and can be played on most of the year. Seven ponds not only enhance the course aesthetically, the water obstacles and bunkers demand a strategic game. At a total length of 5,755 m and par 71, this demanding course is a highlight for every golfer.

Jogging on the Marlinger Waalweg path

One of the most beautiful jogging routes in the region of Merano is directly in front of the Residence Aqualis. At a distance of 12 kilometres, the Marlinger Waalweg above Marlengo is one of the longest canals in South Tyrol and has some of the most magnificent views. The path is mainly level and most suited to hiking, Nordic walking or jogging. Between Tel and Lana it snakes its way through apple orchards and shaded forest areas.
